KA1 projects within the Erasmus+ programme provide opportunities for non-formal and informal
learning for young people and youth workers from Serbia through international activities
conducted by organizations active in the field of youth.
These projects are divided according to the target groups for which they are intended. If they are
intended for young people aged 13-30, then they are youth exchanges that are conducted for
the sake of personal and social development of young people. If they are intended for youth
workers, then they are the mobility of youth workers for the purpose of their professional
development.
Youth exchanges in the Erasmus+ programme enable young people aged 13-30, from Serbia and

During the youth exchange, the participants go through a programme of non-formal education,
which young people prepared together with the youth leaders. The exchange can include
workshops, experiential exercises, debates, simulations, outdoor activities, various activities
with the local community. The list and topics of possible activities are not defined in advance
and depend on your creativity and the needs of young people. In addition to young people from
different countries, the exchange also includes youth leaders, whose task is to provide support
to young people during the learning process.
Through youth exchange, young people develop: their competencies, deal with topics of general
social importance, discover new cultures, habits and lifestyles – mainly through peer learning,
work on work on strengthening values such as solidarity, democracy, friendship, etc.

youth workers from Serbia and at least one other country. Professional development is in the
form of non-formal education through participation in international activities such as: seminars,
trainings, events for establishing contacts and cooperation, study visits, as well as internships, ie.

and other activities.
